how to test connection to Avast cloud?
« on: May 17, 2017, 07:31:04 PM »
How can I test whether the file shield is correctly connecting to the cloud?
I understand that there is a cloud data base that supplements the regularly updated offline virus definitions.

Use the test 6. (Test if your cloud protection is enabled). This will tell you if cloud part is working when the file gets detected by it.

Thanks, @RejZor.
I was able to download CloudCar Testfile. Avast blocked only when I executed it.
I do not have Avast webshield installed, maybe that's why?
I have only file shield, behavior shield, and firewall.
