Latest Release Crashed my Win10 v17035
« on: November 09, 2017, 06:37:29 PM »
Wanted to report my experience.  Tried a clean-install of Avast - still green-screen-of-death during boot.

My version is Windows 10 Insider Fast v 17035.

Thanks.

You can't expect Avast to be compatible with insider releases...
Windows 10 Home 64-bit • Avast Free (latest stable version) •  Malwarebytes 4 Premium (On-Demand) • Windows Firewall Control • Google Chrome • LastPass • CCleaner • O&O ShutUp10 •

I don't "expect" them to support the insider release necessarily, but I do think it's valuable information for them to have that there appears to be a compatibility issue.  The insider version will someday be the release version -- so . . .

Also, since the Avast version BEFORE the latest release did work on the same Windows version without issue - clearly some change in the Avast is what led to the incompatibility, not a change in the Windows o/s.

I also didn't post here politely and in good faith to be flamed at, so please don't.
