At the moment no, but I hear there is a version being released soon for Mac.

Hi justin...

I know nothing of Macs so please forgive my ignorance but I didn't think there were very many viruses written for that platform. Is that a wrong assumption ???

Hi ardvark,
Many is "relative". Compared to windows, there are very few. Compared to windows users, there are also very few. ;D
However, if it's your operating system, it only takes one nasty to raise havoc.  :'(
Regardless of which operating system your using.

Avast for mac is in early beta. Although it is unlikely you will get a virus on your mac (there are no In the wild viruses but there are several proof of concept) you can pass windows viruses on to windows users. But as the others said all it takes is ONE so you may want to try avast for mac when it is released.
