Since we have a lot of British friends and users on this forum, I thought I would post this for information. Hopefully, none of you are a victum.

British law enforcement agents are trying to contact thousands of U.K. computer users who have fallen victim to a massive personal data heist.

What a shame. It's getting where people don't know what to believe, what's legitimate, or what's false in todays society.  :(

Hi neal63,

UK residents are more afraid of cybercrime than real crime. So I would say start protecting yourself against these threats with updates, patches, anti-virus, anti-spyware and a firewall.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
