Restart to Scan
« on: October 17, 2006, 06:26:38 PM »
I was wondering, how to get Avast! to scan my computer for viruses when the computer has restarted.
Cause I think there are some files Avast! cannot get into because those files just cannot be reached when the computer is fully on.

Can anyone help me please?

If you have XP or Win2k, you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, Menu, 'Schedule boot-time scan...'

Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.6.6121 (build 24.6.9241.848) UI 1.0.809/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
