Change the volume or replace sound for warnings
« on: March 21, 2007, 02:48:12 PM »
Howdy all,

OK so i read a previous users comments about loud warnings. I dont want to turn the sounds off alltogether, they are handy when i am away from computer.
Any way to replace sounds (ie. are they sounds that are on hard drive somewhere that are being called by program, or are they embedded)?

Doesn't anyone else find them extremely loud?

Thanks, Nathan

The sounds are on the harddrive - in avast! installation folder, but you can't change them there.
You may be able to create a copy of these sounds somewhere, modify them, and configure the sound events accordingly, I guess.

I think XP Home and Pro work the same here...
