Hey Tech,

As others have stated,I can't justify the price of Office, so I'm thinking of trying OpenOffice.

I've tested. It's a good one.
But there are a lot of differences, things that I was used as MS stated... macros, buttons, functions, features...
It's very hard to me to be used with the OpenOffice. Just my personal experience...

I really hate being ripped off and it isn't Just MS at it.

I could probably name another company, but if I did, I'd be skinned alive by you know .:who:.

 :)

And yet, though committed to open source products as I am, if I had to buy an operating system, it would certainly be .:his:.

I've used their products, and I like them a lot. Something I can't truthfully say about the other one...

Hi DavidR

You're right,

I was lucky enough to be given the Office 2000 CDs by someone who had upgraded to 2003. Otherwise I'd be using a mixture of OO.org and old 97.

Ripped off? Better not be talking about Apple  ;)
