Removing COINMINER malware
« on: November 24, 2023, 07:46:38 PM »
My Avast has been catching and securing win64:coinminer x-gen malware in the specific executable for quite some time. It is obviously not a solution but simply a Band-aid...
Question : can AVAST software remove it ?  If not, what method or software to use ?

I have responded in your other topic, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=326055.0 - that gives me the feeling that this is browser add-on related rather than an infection on the system.

It is best to stick to the one topic related to this as it just duplicates effort by those trying to help.
