Avast was already acquired by Norton

Hi everyone,
I am just knew that Avast company has been acquired by Norton since 2021.
https://www.gendigital.com/us/en/
According the bad impression of using Norton Antivirus before, then switched to Avast Pro until now.
That's why I felt the stability of Avast products is declined these several years.
Many issues of even saying "stable release" each time.....
Quite disappointed. I will monitor it whether is needed to replace it by another again.....

I have only been using Avast for 20 years and I haven't this sustained instability that you mention.
Yes, their have been bugs, many of which I haven't suffered, luck I guess.

Avast 24.6 is Avast's best yet. I have nearly the same length of experience with Avast as David.
