Avast Driver Updater alerted me to an outdated NVIDIA driver this morning (NVIDIA Quadro M100M 32.0.15.6070) as a Vulnerable Outdated Driver.
I downloaded and updated teh driver, and my computer reverted to the Blue Screen of Death upon restart. After uninstalling Quality Updates and trying various self-repair functions in Windows 10, I finally reverted back to the most recent Restore Point, which fixed the problem. I then opened Driver Updater and chose to ignore that update. The problem has been repaired, but obviously, this means that there's more to the BSOD this week than just CloudStrike.
Attached is a photo of the Avast Driver Updater screen for the offending update. I sent a support request 5 hours ago and never received a response from AVAST, so I figured I would post this instead.
