Mozilla Web pages
« on: July 01, 2008, 12:55:59 PM »
Hi all

Just a quick question?
Is any one having trouble opening up mozilla pages.(etc home page addons themes download pages)

Since yesterday i have been only able to get to their web site once either using firefox or IE7.
Even tried turning of the firewall no difference and i am not having any trouble with any other sites.

Cheers

Well firstly I try that URL and it does a redirect (based I guess on the version of FF you have) to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/, so I don't know if you might have any security add-ons that might block this redirect.

On dial-up it takes a little time for that page to load but otherwise it loads fine. Try the above URL and see if that loads.

Hi
I still can't log into most of mozilla web pages and i can't even update my extentions as i get a error message.

I have managed to log into mozilla forum and it seems i am not the only one with problems.
Hopefully they can help.
At times like this i feel very silly as i have not got a clue .

Are you using ThreatFire? If you uninstall it, will Firefox extensions update?

Hi Rafel

I also have the same problem with thunderbird.

Having a look at your image shows a different URL to the one I posted, yours shows en-us.www.mozilla.com which with that URL I'm sure it would fail for me, strangely enough it didn't ???

Weird goings on.
