Essential files in Virus Chest
« on: March 14, 2009, 12:27:20 AM »
"kernel.32 dll - C:|Windows|system 32, winsock.dll - C|windows|system32 and wsock.dll - C|windows|system32.
Avast has moved the above three files which if I understand correctly are essential files for running the computer.
I realize that thy have been placed in the "Virus Chest" as a precautionary measure. With these files in the Chest will it have any effect on the running of my computer.
Thanking you ahead in this matter,

These files in the chest are copies of the original files which are still in their correct places.
