Google planning Big brother "behavioral targeting ads"
« on: March 14, 2009, 12:40:03 AM »
Hi malware fighters,

Google is preparing for new targeting ads, Google will use your analyzed surfing habits to show targeting relevant ads. Privacy groups are not amused, re: http://www.pcworld.com/article/161086/privacy_groups_rip_googles_targeted_advertising_plan.html

Google will test these 'behavioral targeting' ads inside YouTube and on partner sites. How do you plan to permanent block these ads inside the browser?

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

I saw this coming years ago and those of you using the Google browser are most at risk for this ... though no one is really safe.
