i got an error message regarding rootkit and some win32-Trojan(gen),win32-confi. and win32-dialer(gen).by not knowing about the false positive i activated by deleting those and moving some of them to chest.so please help me :'(

manually downloaded the corresponding patch from MS installed the ms patch.again its showing rootkit hidden process.currently i am using avast4.8 professional demo version.i got rid of win32-confi thanks 4 tht.

post the screenshot of the warning... and if possible, update your OS with all recent patches (the one related to confi is almost a year old, i wonder how is it possible that you didn't have it already)..

how about chesting the file from boot-time scanner?

no file found to delete and the same error message for move to chest

this  time on boot scan i got message that the file is located in windows and asking me to move or wat.i just installed all updates from ms
