how do i get rid of spyware/adware, like these stupid toolbars?

Hi,

some advice:
1) use above board-search
2) download, install, update, scan & fix with
Ad-AWARE, SPYBOT & CWSHREDDER
Links: www.lavasoft.de & www.lurkhere.com
3) Apply all Windowsupdates, Secure your IE (disable activeX & scripting except for known, secure sites etc..)

4) if you still get them, please post a hijackthis_log here: http://hjt.klaffke.de/en
