I know its not just me. VMWare player is a Program that allows users to Enter others machines

I downloaded it hoping to use a 64 bit windows how ever I installed it to but suddenly 4 days later a Trojan agent appeared then a Trojan Expoilt appeared both appeared in TMP Folder and i never Even used the program i just installed it

I also noticed in event Viewer that services like IMAPI CD Rom Drvie - Remote access mannager
and all my secuirty firewall off...etc ports opened

How Ever I Don't think i entered any one's machine or became a host or any thing... how could a hacker Send me those stuff?

i alredy formatted my computer but just wondering :-)

yeah, and this forum is not public right, get that straight sh, you're not anyone's brother here OK  ;) as to your topic, didn't know you were into VMs now, you should apply at VMware, I'm sure they'll be interested  :D ... heard they're looking for young geeks  ;D

When using "capturing" devices, you're opening both computers to the world unless there's additional security that's built into the paid programs. What you're actually telling your firewall is that it's OK to open certain ports. On the other hand, if there's a friend 1,000 miles (kilometers) away that has a computer problem, maybe it's worth the risk.
