siszyd32.exe - help needed, logs included!
« on: January 23, 2010, 02:32:34 AM »
Hi!

So, now i guess its my turn to get infected by siszyd32.exe  :( A Couple of hours ago i booted my laptop and Avast! reacted on this infamous file. I immediately started searching online for info on the file and eventually found the 4 page thread about it on this forum. I really hope you guys can help me. Maybe its worth mentioning that my computer havent experienced any performance issues since the virus was found and i havent been doing anything on my computer besides following the Sticky-guide posted here.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (found and cleaned 3 infected items) - check
OTL - check

I've attached the logs!

Edit: Removed the logs for integrity reasons, i'm a bit paranoid :)

Looks like you caught it nice and early before it could get entrenched as MBAM seems to have killed it.  I can see no evidence of it in your OTL log

If you are having no problems you should be OK

Thanks a lot! I should be fine then.

Funny but just a couple of minutes ago my internet connection was acting up. When i started IE or FF i was redirected to another page that didnt load properly and my connection seemed not working as windows mail couldnt connect to the mailservers. I got really scared att first but when i looked at the adress that the browser redirected me to it was a page on the same domain as my ISP. Probably just a temporary ISP-issue as everything worked after a reboot.

You and the other guys on this forum are doing a stellar job!
