EXE file to scan downloads in Avast4.8?
« on: February 03, 2010, 06:51:36 PM »
Running Avast4.8 on a Win XP SP3 machine, I would know the name of the EXE file to enter in my download app, in order to scan the downloaded file while downloading. Thank you for your kind response.

I am using orbit downloader for downloading, there should be an option for antivirus on the setting menu. Chose avast quick scan execution for scanning.

But avast normally would scan the file just before they got downloaded or after finishing download since some downloader take the memory to compile the downloaded file (avast does scan the memory for malwares).

Thank you for your posts. My downloader asks me for an EXEfile. I'll try ashQuick.exe.
