My assigned computer at school has RavMonE.exe
« on: May 15, 2010, 11:19:38 PM »
Okay my school has all these computers and my assigned computer has RavMonE.exe which someone pretty much installed my websearch before it was assigned to me. The thing is that i really need to use my own files and office documents for assignments. I delete the executable and pretty much delete the registry key from the Windows XP Pro Laptop. Well the catch is that it has Deep Freeze (Honesty, they could of used MBAM before the installed it on all of the computers) and Vexira Antivirus (Really not a good antivirus and that deep freeze recovers all viruses and worms on those infected computers). What should I tell them about it? Should I tell them that most of their computers have viruses that Deep Freeze recovers (slash out the teachers). Or get Avast Free Edition and then do the one above?

If the computers belongs to the school, maybe it should ask for professional versions of avast.
But, indeed, we can help with avast and not with Vexira (never heard about it ???).
