Backdoor. Trojan
« on: July 22, 2004, 09:38:49 AM »
hello all

Just wondered if anyone her might be able to help me with this trojan?

I have found a trogan in the System32/lodja.dll found by Norton but after following remoal instuctions from norton posted in 1998 I have been unable to remove it. It seems that I am able to locate it in explorer (un- hide all files) but once I boot in safe mode all scanners I have tryed have been unable to locate it. If I try while running the system in admin rights it comes up saying the file is working. I have spen the last two days trying to find a way and at this point no one has been able to help except for a reformat. Even the major anit-virus sites don't mention anything about a new trojan.
:'( Looking in the task manager I also cannot see anything thet looks like its not meant to be there.

Have downloaded 4 trogan finder program but with no luck. Funny thing in safe mode nothing can find it not even explorer .
aaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Im running XP pro

Any help an you will be blessed

Cheers

Hi,
please read "VirusRemoval"below, use Onlinescanners from Trend & RAV, report their findings,
and post a hijackthis-log ;)
