No right click for Scanning DVD and USB drives
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:06:08 PM »
Hi everyone. Does avast automatically check a DVD or a USB drive as soon as you place them in? I wanted to scan a DVD from Windows explorer and there is no right click option to scan DVD.  When I load the dvd,  explorer checks for files but the Avast icon does not rotate. I am wondering if a virus that could be on the DVD can run while Explorer is displaying the files. Using Win7 and Avast Pro. Thank you.

open avast > scan computer > removable media scan

just tested
in my computer > right clicked the USB stick and it is scanning but the orange ball is not turning.....
