I second what SALGAL posted on another thread: See was having problems posting on a dedicated thread:
just had my free AVAST upgraded and now, everytime it upgrades or stops a virus, it tells me so. How can I turn that off please? I go into the Status and hit 'silent/gaming mode', but that only turns her voice off for a little while, and it's annoying, especially if your sound is turned up. thank you.
We have the Pro version and the same thing happens. My wife was woken up by this woman at 200am. My dogs used to get all bothered when she fires off the anouncement. Now they just ignore it.
