I don`t know whether or not it is becuase of a virus, but whilst on the internet I get re-directed to www.123ads.com. iT IS driving me mad:

I have ran adaware and spybot, and still no luck.

how can i get rid of this problem? Although it does not show up in this log. I have seen this file on my computer:

C:\ProgramFiles\Common Files\midaddl

is it suspicious?

Your primary Problem is this file:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svvhost.exe

Check it here: http://virusscan.jotti.dhs.org/ Copy and paste the result in an a reply.

fix all entries with the word "svvhost.exe", restart and send the file to virus@avast.com . You may try to let avast clean/rename the other Malware in Windows safe mode.

Get the HJT log analyzer from HERE and remove everything that is reported as bad.

Then run HJT again, create a new log and analyze it HERE
Again remove everything that is reportad as bad.
