Okay I recently aquired a vtrojen virus and have used programs to attempt to remove it however, the damage it has done to my Internet Explorer I cannot fix.  I am now no longer able click on cirtain items, check my email, and and I constantly reicieve popups to the site where I intatilly aquired the virus and the virus never seems to go away completely.  How can I fix internet explorer???? I know that firefox is an option however there are several other users on my computer whom refuse to switch browers so I need IExplorer to work for them.

Hi,
please read the link "VirusRemoval" below in my sig and:
- post a hijackthis-Log for diagnosis
- tell us exactly WHAT virus was found WHERE (full path/folder filename)
- report the results of Onlinescanners and of updated avast
- tell us what Win you have and whether all Windowsupdates are applied

you can try repairing your IE-Browser via ControlPanel -> Software -> InternetExplorer -> uninstall -> repair
but this should be tackled after the PC is cleaned
