How do I install the license key for 6.0?

I was sent the license key for 5.0 and I have 6.0 that downloaded and installed.
I'm trying to install the free 1 year license. There is no place to install the license key I was sent, as it is longer than the 3 box area, in the
place to space to put it.

Help! don't want any malware to get on here.
