avast ais and total unstall
« on: June 15, 2011, 09:45:29 AM »
im using avast AIS should i put total uninstall in the exclude list and the options are read/write/execute ...i can uncheck either not sure which if any
also there is a behavior list for avast NOT to monitor  should i put TU.exe  it seems to show up on the desktop i suppose because my AV is not monitoring it but is this unsafe...example if i used TU to install a program that was not clean
also should i put total uninstall folder in the ignore list of windows defender and Malwarebytes  im trying out the trial but i dont want to be unsafe i think after it prepares to install what ever file its not monitored by my AVbut when the file begins to launch my AV begins monitoring a well as malwarebytes this is my guess i would appreciate you help thank you i just wanna be safe

No, you don't need to make any exclusion for any clean program (like I suppose Total Uninstall it).
If you're installing a program that is not clean I WON'T rely on TU, but rather use virtual machines.
