Although I am not sure if your problem is covered also, you may try the patch at http://public.avast.com/~kurtin/patches/#ap20112407001.

If you do, please carefully follow the instructions for that patch ONLY.

If unsure, please do NOT "TRY IT ANYWAY".

You may want to wait for some more specific instructions from some Avast Team member, since I don't really know if this patch actually covers (solves) your specific problem.

Do you have any unpXXXXX.tmp files in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log folder?
(or rather - not any, but one with its timestamp corresponding to the mentioned event)

Yes I do, the file is called unp50987491.tmp.mdmp. I also have 3 other files, but they are 0kb each. I will tell you them anyway. They are unp7349392.mdmp, unp7331087.mdmp, and unp7327380.mdmp. I will upload unp50987491.tmp.mdmp to MediaFire.

Done, the link is http://www.mediafire.com/?uno450472lo3h5m
