I think as Antivirus which has the most users worldwide, cloud should be available in next version. It can make the scan more fast and collect the virus sample more easy. ;D How do you think of it? ???

Thank you and I have another suggestion:I hope that adding a "skip" option in scanning interface
,so that if we find a file which we do not want to scan,we can skip it easily to save a lot of time.

That is very unlikely to happen, as avast have frequently stated this, as a one click option is too easily used by accident or by those who believe a file is good when it is infected.

That is why it is a deliberate act to exclude a file from scans.

How to Filter With Avast   http://www.ehow.com/how_7562490_filter-avast.html
Thank you for your help! :)

I'm afraid that is an old ehow article as the new versions of avast5 & 6 don't drill down to file level only to folder level.
Note: When using the Browse button it only goes down to folder level accept that. Now open the entry in the exclusions and change the \* to \file_name.exe where file_name.exe is the file you want to exclude.

The warning is also totally lacking, excluding a folder can leave a hole in security, where ever possible you should exclude files not folders. If excluding folders then you should limit the exclude to file types within a folder, e.g. c:\folder-name\*.mp3 so should an executable end up in that media folder it isn't excluded.
