chaniging icons

last week i downloaded a program( game) when i scaned it ,it was clean. after i installed it .still was ok.

when i tried to run the game,avast told me i had a trojan(It id the trojan) I deleted it and the game.

i have updated the dat files(do this once a week) did a scan and it showed the machine was clean.

but now the icons two so far have changed on my desktop.

need help thanks

What exact version of Avast and vps?
What icons have changed?
How are they changed?

i have 2 icon that are changing
one is a file splitter program it going from the right icon to a real player icon

the other is for my hp printer    going from the right icon-to an icon that looks like a short cut icon

Your registry is messed up. Run a registry cleaner and reboot.
