Avast v. 7.0.1426 closing every single program i start

So a couple of days ago i updated avast to the new version after i got prompted to do so.
After i did that every single program i start up it closes and i have to go into avast enter the auto-sandbox and add the program in there
before i can open the program or game up.
now I've always been a big fan of avast and i can not underline how satisfied I have been using avast it is a lot faster
and way more reliable than any other on the marked today.
But this is quite irritating that i have to go into the sandbox to allow it to run, it's not a BIG issue but it is something that's starting to get on my nerves
thinking about downgrading.
Is there a way to get avast to act normal again or should i simply add every single .exe file on my computer to avast.

Sorry but that did not do the trick it still closes programs thats not in the sandbox even though none of them are any kind of a threat to my pc
seriously how should programs like office word, steam, eclipse or fraps be a threat to my pc?
I really can not see it.
