tray, stop animation

I love the program but hate the tray icons flashing and rotating, please set a prefernce to switch off animations whhen all is smooth operations.

also there is no way to set what program should do when a virus is found - action 1 - move to vault, action 2 - delete if 1 fails ...

1. Turn the animated function off.

Check out this thread for lots of options you can set through the avast.ini file. Understanding avast4.ini file

2. This function is available only in the Pro (paid) version. You don't say what version you have. Check out the avast help file under Silent Mode.

1] You can also just hide the icon.
Besides, it is only spinning if it is scanning something.

2] You get what you pay for ;D The Pro version (as DavidR said) has extended options, the Home version only has silent mode.

Take some time to read the help, this forum and the website and make yourself familiar with the options/settings Avast is offering you.
