Are all Win32:startpage s the same??? I have -066.

I have skimmed thru all the posts on win32:startpage.......  and most of them seem to be -006, or a few other numbers.  I have Win32:startpage-066.  [I seem to be the only one with this # "066"]

Are all these win32:startpage's the same????

Can they all be cured the same way???

                                                               ........ or in theory???

Avast Cleaner doesn't seem to have this kind of Win32 on it's list for cleaning.

Thx.    :-*

No they are not the same. (hence the numbers)

Yes basicly ALL malware can be cleaned following the same procedure.
See the malware removal section on my website.
(click on the link in my signature to get there)

Ofcourse the Avast Cleaner doesn't deal with these. The cleaner is for things that form a huge security thread.
Startpage hijackers (although inconvenient) are just very small ones.
