New virus

The name of the new virus is "W32.Maslan.A@mm"
It's russian i think
I'm not sure but...avast can't detect it

As you can see, even Maslan-C is detected

You could also have had a look at the virus list:
start Avast > Menu > Virus List

Maslan(-A) was added to the vps on 6 December 2004, even 1 day before it was discovered according to Symantec

Edit : Have a look at what Sophos says about it. Note especially the part that says " Included in our products from"

Today's release detects, later Maslan-c, along with a great number of other updates.

David, he said Maslan-A not C and A was added on the date I mentioned.

Yeah, I didn't go looking any deeper for maslan-a when I found that maslan-c was already in the VPS.
