Avast detected all my programs as virus?

I don't know if avast 7 (up-to-date) is acting weird or my whole computer is infected. All the the files with .exe in the Program Files folder and other loacations are detected as virus by Avast. I didn't yet try to move them all (500+) to the chest because I am afraid I might mess up my whole computer. The OS is windows XP.

Same OS and Avast!. Ran quick scan and Explorer scan on Program files folder. Nothing.

What is the name of the infection (Virus) ?
