Avast 8 - messed-up scan scheduler
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:39:12 PM »
I had recently altered my schedules in Avast 7 for Quick Scans and Full Scans. After the update to version 8, the old timings reactivated (but were not shown in the schedule dialog). The new timings did show in the dialog and did (also) activate. So both old & new scan schedules have been running.

Is there some way to clear the relevant file or database and start over?

Otherwise I'm afraid I will have to disable all the scheduled scans and abandon the faulty feature. I am not confident that disabling will "stick" either!

For what it's worth, this is Vista Home Premium, 32-bit.
