Purchase extra licenses

I'm having a lot of trouble getting an answer to this question.  We are a small (quickly growing) company, and we are looking at replacing all our Pro licenses with Endpoint licenses.  What I want to know is, if I purchase say 15 EP licenses, and I need to buy more in the future when new people join, do I still need to buy a minimum of 5 at a time?  Can anybody please help with this?
