Slow dialing

For some reason the last Samsung software update made it so my phone takes 3 - 4 minutes to actually start dialing out once I hit the call button. I tried to stop apps etc and once I stopped Avast mobile and it dials like normal, how do I stop whatever Avast is doing to make the calls take so long to start calling?

Uninstalled Avast and the phone works like it should, it sped everything up.

Avast does not interfere with dialing ..

Ok, well when I stopped Avast my phone started dialing normally, so I uninstalled Avast and my phone dials out with no delay at all, which it didn't do when Avast was installed.

It's really weird that only dialing would be affected. I'd guess more issues would have to appear. Maybe AMS was interfering with some other app on your phone that caused the dialing issue.
