Avast miss Interpol Virus
« on: January 11, 2014, 10:35:30 AM »
Hello,

yesterday my firefox was blocked with warning interpol asked me to pay by Ukash, blablabla
I disconnected from the web , I reseted my computer by power supply , booted in normal way.
I got my desktop without problem , used some tools:
-ccleaner , adwcleaner , malwarebytes , Roguekiller , JRT and avast full scan.
Nothing wrong was found and my pc seems to be clean and fluid.

I hope ..... but how can you explain that avast (last prog and VPS) has missed ?
Also I have noticed the link displayed in my address bar when I was blocked , even if it's not a site I know , not seem to be malicious anywhere
sdfgerg.hairtransplantanabroad . com

Thanks for some advices.

No Anti-Malware is going to protect you 100% not even avast or any software for that matter. Security software, is like a condom for your computer accidents Sometimes happens.   It's good to know you're computer is malware free now.

If none of the malware tools found anything then I would assume that Avast blocked it from downloading
