Mark emails as Read

Is there anyway for Avast to mark emails as read when they are moved to junk folder?

Otherwise Outlook icon still shows with unread emails, I have to switch over to outlook, only to find no emails to read as they were spam.

Only a minor inconvenience I know, but would be nice if Avast could mark them as read.

i think you have to sett this in your mail client.....

if you google it you will see that you are not the first one to ask....

Outlook rules process before Avast review email and decides it is spam/virus, so no way to set a rule in Outlook for "marked as spam"

Avast is the one moving the email to the junk folder, so I think it is Avast I need to get to also mark as read.
