AVAST is changing the way attachments are sent.
« on: June 16, 2014, 08:40:39 PM »
HELP,

I am sending emails in Rich Text format, the attachments are in the body of the email in Outlook 2013.  It is removing the graphic from the signature block.

Why is it doing this, I have managed to stop the display o the AVAST note, but dont know why it is changing the format of my email.

Example below:

I attach our brochures from our websites for more information:  www.xxxx.com, and for labor and employment, www.xxxx.com.
<<...>> <<...>>

(The arrows above are where my attachments should have been in the body of the text.

Help please as I really need this to be right, it has never done this before.

Well, if I remember, this was an old old issue with Windows 98. Maybe searching the forum (and patience).
I also lost any help info on how to manage this.
Maybe Igor, with his enormous memory could remember from avast! 4...
Or any other avast! team member that knows how Mail Shield manage the emails.

Sorry not being that useful...
