shopper pro help
« on: September 22, 2014, 04:33:12 AM »
I downloaded a nintendo emulator (project 64) and a game (legend of zelda ocarina-something) and apparently missed a checkbox or something and picked up ytdownloader and shopper pro.  With MBAM/AdwCleaner/CCLeaner I seem to have eradicated ytdownloader but I have not been able to get rid of shopper pro.  Every once in a while, even if I'm not actively doing anything at all, avast complains:

http://www.avast.com/en-us/lp-fr-virus-alert?p_ext=&utm_campaign=Virus_alert&utm_source=prg_fav_90_1&utm_medium=prg_systray&utm_content=.%2Ffa%2Fen-us%2Fvirus-alert-default&p_vir=RmlsZVJlcE1ldGFnZW4gW0RSUF0&p_prc=C:\Users\hank\AppData\Local\Installer\Installshopperpro_12232\DC1C95.tmp&p_obj=aHR0cDovL3MzLmFtYXpvbmF3cy5jb20vc2hvcHBlci1wcm8vU2hvcHBlclByb0pTSU5KRnVsbC5leGU&p_var=.%2Ffa%2Fen-us%2Fvirus-alert-default&p_elm=7&p_lex=17&p_lid=en-us&p_lng=en&p_lqa=0&p_lqe=0&p_lst=1&p_lsu=24&p_pro=0&p_bld=empty&p_vep=9&p_ves=0&p_vbd=2021&p_hid=ba466c25-49a6-4fb8-bfe1-67ef84f95777&p_ram=8086&p_cpu=7.6

I am attaching the logs requested in the sticky.  Appreciate any help you can give me to get rid of this.

Thank you I will try this when I get home tonight.  Is there anything I should backup prior to running this?

Ok, just asking because I see references to legit things in there like Music Bee and Amazon Cloud Player (though I don't even use that one).  Also, is that a typo I see where it starts with "ask" instead of "Task" - looks like it could be a copy/paste error?

Code: [Select]
Task: {8D09B31B-743A-4EA0-B1DA-1CF23B3B0972} - System32\Tasks\XLYOD => C:\Users\hank\AppData\Roaming\XLYOD.exe

Task: {99823461-E5C2-454B-A7D5-72F7C1409B17} - System32\Tasks\Amazon Music Helper => C:\Users\hank\AppData\Local\Amazon Cloud Player\Amazon Music Helper.exe [2013-12-12] ()

Yep add a T in front of that (FRST will ignore it otherwise)

Music bee and amazon cloud player are ad supported

Hi!  I ran as instructed and have attached the resulting log file.  It's been a couple minutes since the reboot and no alerts from avast so far - will post back if anything comes up.  /crosses fingers

Hey it appears to be fixed, I was on my PC for a while last night and never got any more Avast notifications which were previously occurring every 10 minutes or so.  Not sure what you mean by "tidy up" is  that something that involves actions for me to take?  Thanks so much for your help.
