I know it's a virus; it's listed as a program and won't uninstall. Avast doesn't recognize it all and and when I click uninstall, Avast keeps giving me a "WIN32:Adware-gen (ADW)" message and stalls. In my searches, every website has a pet adware/spyware program to install to get rid of it. Part of the advice is also to go to browsers and remove extensions, which don't show up in the respective tools menu. A few of the sites suggest manually going into the registry to clean, but nothing definitive about how to do it. So at this point what are the options to get rid of YTDownloader?
