Its starting to piss me off it blocks everything without reason.

Its blocking me from downloading addons. I get connection failure with avast enabled i have to disable avast shields to install addons.

It also blocks many unknown but safe programs etc... Im switching away until fixed.

For some reason its like avast does not want you to download addons not on Mozilla's site. Where alot of popular addons in fact dont have addons there and have them on there down site.

1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions..!!)
3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

It's most probably a cert issue, a clean reinstall should fix it.

What makes you believe it is without reason?
