XP won't do a restart
« on: June 12, 2015, 02:25:57 PM »
I am running XP on an old laptop.
I have been trying out several linux distros from their live CDs.
Since doing this, the laptop will no longer do a restart when I log out of XP.

I would like to regain the restart function with the laptop using XP.

Does anyone have any idea how I could correct this problem?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the information.

I figured out the problem.  I started using a new program called Dsynchronize.  If it is running at the time of log off, the the laptop does not do a restart as requested, but rather just shuts down.  I have emailed the developer about the problem.
