Netclient Reinstall

We are testing the enterprise edition of avast and we are very impressed with the system and the pricing. But during our testing we have run into a problem.

We had a client system we were testing with, and wanted to test a reinstallation of the software. So we removed the product with the avast cleaner which removed the antivirus scanner. We then created a new MSI file with a different IP address for the installation. When I run that MSI file on the client I get a quick progress bar and then nothing. The package will not install and there is no dialog or error log of what happened during the installation.

Any idea of what is happening with this installation?

We have seen this too. Simply right click the MSI file on that computer, and click uninstall, then re-run the install.

LOL... not a pretty solution, but it works. Fixed my 'won't install on Vista' problem! :)
