Network Threat
« on: May 11, 2016, 03:01:13 AM »
I did a scan and one of the issues to be resolved was a network threat. However, Avast isn't providing any options to resolve/identify the threat. All it says is an unknown device. How do I find out what this device is and remove if necessary? I have attached a picture of the scan result. I'm not the best with computers so I don't know what information you require to assist in this issue other than I have Windows 7 and the free version of Avast.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue.
We have a fix already in testing and it should be released in upcoming days.
As a workaround for now, you can run the full Network scan. Please go to Scan > Scan for network threats.

Hello,

Fix for this issue is rolling out via micro update right now and will be fully released in a few hours.
To get this update, please make sure that you are using the latest version of Avast (11.2.2262).
To update Avast to latest version, go to Settings > Update > Program update.

Thank you,
Filip
