START UP BOOT scan

How can I get Avast to perform a start up boot scan and where can I get a copy of the results log? Also if I upgrade Avast from free to internet security or premier do I need to close the windows firewall and virus protection?

Win 7 (and later) > Boot time scan log located at C:/Program Data/Avast Software/Avast/Report/aswBoot.txt
XP > Documnets and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report\aswBoot.txt
