Password security scan
« on: May 23, 2016, 10:03:44 AM »
Hello.

I've just run a scan on my browser passwords and it highlighted a few weak passwords from websites that I haven't been on in years, so if I choose the delete option in Avast, what does that actually do? Does it just remove the site I've selected from future scans or does it delete the log in info from the two browsers I use?

Thank you in advance.

Remove the login details for those sites from your browsers.

I expected that to be the case, but the first one I tried didn't work on Chrome. It did prevent automatic login, but my username an password were still stored in the browser.

Tell avast to delete them.
It should be fine.
