change from pro to free version

It is time to renew my Avast. I now have the pro version and would like to change to the free version, but when I hit renew it only shows the various pro versions. How do I renew to the free version?

Renew means extending the subscription you have.

Just remove the pro version and you can get the free version.
Don't forget to stop the auto-renewal if you have that enabled.
