MS06-001WMF Exploit
« on: January 19, 2006, 02:02:01 PM »
Avast picked up this virus today which they say is a worm, but I have no idea at all if I still have it or whether it has been deleted,or how to find out.. I ran a scan again and nothing was found, and the only virus that was in the chest was

ossproxy.ex_original location C:\WINNT\system32
win32:TipSea-E

whatever that is,the worm is not there so does that mean it has been deleted or what...I am really nervous about this and not at all confident about it,so dumbo here really needs help..

Where exactly was it found? (the location)
Maybe it was just Web Shield that detected the malware when you were browsing on web and prevented it from entering your computer?
